I hope this finds you doing well. Thank you so much for all your healing thoughts, prayers, and well wishes as I have spent time in recovery. Your understanding and patience helped as I worked on getting better. This whole experience has given me a new level of understanding in the complexity of how our bodies work and how we can feel day to day.
The calendar is once again open for scheduling. Appointments can be scheduled in multiple ways for your convenience.

MASKS & VACCINES
For clarity, I want to make sure it is understood that I follow the mandates set forth from the state. Masks are worn in my office as a safety courtesy for all, regardless of vaccination status. As always, when receiving massage in the face down position, I set the face cradle so that masks are not needed. In all other therapy positions, clients need to be masked. If this causees concern, let's discuss it and strategize together an effective therapeutic plan for your wellness.
It is also important to note that while regular medical clinics see all clients; there is a growing wave of massage therapists that are essentially only seeing clients who are vaccinated. I want you to be aware that this is not my stance. I see both the vaccinated and unvaccinated.
My stance as always, is that every body deserves the benefit that therapeutic massage has to offer them. A person who is immune compromised with a chronic need for masasge therapy and has not been vaccinated is just as important as the person who needs tharapeutic massage and has taken the vaccine.
For me, it is more than receiving a booster shot. Protecting one another has a lot to do with daily practice. If you will be patient with my analogy for a moment and understand that I am not debating on the validity of the shot, my analogy is this.... it is much like wearing a seatbelt. Is a person more safe with a seatbelt on? The answer is basically yes. But if that same person wears a seatbelt and then drives after drinking 3 beers; is the seatbelt going to help at all? Probably not, and the waves of collateral damage are high.
As the delta variant has shown us, we can be carriers in either situation of vaccinated and unvaccinated. So for me it has more to do with daily practice and care.
  • If you have been traveling on a plane/train; please pause before coming in. I paused for you in like manner with kind caution after my summer trip.
  • In my office, I clean well in between clients.
  • We both wear masks.
  • Hand sanitizer is readily available in multiple areas of my office.
  • A HEPA filtration machine is constantly running at the head of my table.
  • I ask clients to be cognisant of how they are feeling. Even if you have a basic cold, massage can make your symptoms much worse as it pushes it through your body's systems before your army of white cells can catch up.
If you have questions or concerns about this, please let's discuss them together.

HIGHLIGHT THE CALENDAR
There seems to always be so many awareness opportunities on the calendar and September is no exeption to that. This month I want to highlight that September is National Courtesy Month. With everything going on these days, I recognise how much easier and safer it feels to put our heads down and close off the things around us. With masks on, we are no longer able to give a reassuring smile that bonds connection. And the threat of germs cause us to be even more deficit of regular vital human touch. But I encourage you to take a moment and see what you can safely and tangibly do around you to encourage someone else.
  • Hold a door open
  • Buy the coffee for the person behind you
  • Send a note
  • Make a phone call
  • Send a funny selfie
  • Even with a mask on, you can tell people that they matter
  • While not the primary goal, doing things for someone else can actually raise your own happiness and self validation. It just feels good.
Thank you for spending some of your valuable time here with me today. I look forward to seeing you whenever you are ready to come in. Until then, peace and wellness to you and yours in all you set your purpose to do.

I have a deep passion for helping others.  Really that is the bottom line. Helping people be released from discomfort. Helping people be present in the life they are given. Helping people know that they are each valuable original treasures unlike no one else ever. To humbly be part of seeing a person hold onto whatever peace they need at that present time. Yes that is my passion.
