Policies

These policies are placed to help in understanding the expectations that we can both set in working together. If you have any questions, please ask me for clarification. I am happy to talk thru anything.

Client Policies

• Cancellation: I understand that emergencies come up. If an emergency arises, I ask that you give at least 24 hour notice so that the time slot can be used by someone else.
• No Show Fee: While emergencies do happen, other reasons for not coming to your appointment affects the availability for others. 1st time - we will discuss the policy. 2nd time - you will be invoiced a $45 missed booking fee.
• On Time: Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment so that things are not rushed.  Sessions begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions that begin late still end at the appointed time and charged the regular fee.
• Payment: Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made prior to treatment. Payments may be made via cash or credit.
• Privacy & Modesty: Clients are respectfully draped with a sheet or towel at all times with only the area being worked on being uncovered. Treatment and/or exposure for both male and female clients are never given to genitals, nipples and gluteal cleft. 
• Professional: Sexual harassment is not tolerated. If safety is compromised, the session will end immediately and not be re-scheduled.

Therapist Policies

• Respect: All clients; no matter race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, body type, political affiliation; are treated with respect and dignity.
• Privacy: Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times within the scope of HIPAA laws.
• Scope of Practice: I perform therapeutic services for which I am qualified and I refer out to the appropriate specialists when needed. 
• Professional: I provide my clients with a competent and professional session each time that is specific for their needs for that day.  I will never emotionally pressure a client to receive a treatment that they are not feeling ready for.​
