We all have times in our lives that are hard. We think nothing can be more difficult than what we have experienced. Then we listen to someone else's walk and find ourselves grateful for our size of experience that seems suddenly fit so much better. 
​I found myself in just such a place a couple of months ago when I had the privilege of spending time with an amazing group of people. They were burn survivors.

I found myself humbled and in awe of these people; not defined by age, race, color, culture, religion or gender but by the scars that united their experiences. They are incredible people, beautiful through and through. Their raw courage and determination to be steadfast and not give up; to wake up each day and push their bodies to new limits in achieving their passions and destinies..... to say it is inspiring seems so small in comparison to what I feel.

I am so grateful to be able to announce that I am now part of the national Burn Scar Massage Therapy Team. It is amazing and exciting to see the freedom and relief that regular massage can give to scars.
